Mounding perennial or subshrub. Found across temperate parts of N Hemisphere. Grassy, deep green leaves. Leaves 4in (10cm) ling. Flower stems 12in (30cm) long/1in (25mm) wide. Flowers white, pink or red.

Blooms almost all year on Pacific coast.
