Stanhopea ecornuta, Lem. Pseudobulbs and lvs. large: scape short, clothed with green bracts, 2-fld.: sepals erect, 2 in. long, ovate, concave, white, petals smaller; labellum reduced to a fleshy sac-like hypochil, 1 1/2 in. long, yellow deepening to orange at the base; column as long as the labellum and of the same color.
