Scutellaria resinosa, Torr. (S. Wrightii, Gray). Plants minutely glandular-pubescent: sts. herbaceous, low, erect and much-branched: lvs. about 1/2 in. long, ovate or spatulate-oblong, very obtuse, both surfaces green, entire, base rotundate or subcuneate not cordate, resinous-glandular: fls. axillary, opposite, secund; calyx glandular-pubescent; corolla blue, densely villous. Kans. to Texas and westward to Ariz. B.B. (ed. 2) 3:108. CH
