Scilla amoena, Linn. Star Hyacinth. Leaves 4-7, flaccid, ascending, glabrous, 6-9 inches long, 1/3-2/3 inches broad: scapes several, equaling the leaves: racemes several-flowered, 4-8, open; flowers distant, 1/2-3/4 inches diameter, blue: pedicels ascending or spreading. March. Austria, Germany.—Hardy. It grows luxuriantly, several flowering stems being found on the same plant. CH
