Saxifraga aphylla, Sternb. (S. leptophylla, Froel.). Loosely cespitose, about 1 in. high with numerous sparsely foliate caudicles with rosettes at the top: sts. sparsely glandular-pilose: lvs. light green, rather thin, entire or 3-5-cuspidate, the divisions ovate-lanceolate, obtuse: infl. almost leafless 1-fld., rarely 2-fld. glandular scapes: fls. light yellow; calyx-lobes ovate, acute; petals linear, acute, equaling the calyx-lobes.
