Shrub, to 10 ft. or more with slender grayish branches,almost leafless: lvs. small, simple or rarely 3-foliolate, generally linear or linear-spatulate, silky: fls. white, fragrant, in short lateral racemes; corolla silky; calyx purple: pod broadly oval, 1-2-seeded.
