Prunus pumila var. susquehanae (Prunus cuneata, Raf. P. pumila var. cuneata, Bailey). Erect, 1-4 ft.: lvs. thin, oval, short-obovate or spatulate, strongly toothed, especially at apex: fls. larger. Bogs and cool woods and about lakes in the northern states, and in the mountains as far south as N. C.—Not in the trade, so far as known, and not promising horticulturally. CH
