Trunk attaining 30 ft. high, 10-12 in. thick, straight, smooth: lvs. 4 4/2 ft. long, 3 1/4 ft. wide, densely covered when young with whitish brown tomentum, finally glabrous and of a fine rich green; segms. about 90; petiole 3 1/3 ft. long.
