Ononis hircina, Jacq. (O. altissima. Lam.). Erect, spineless, more or less villous, 1-2 ft.: lfts. 3, oblong-lanceolate, acute, serrate: fls. about 2 together, rose and white, May-July or Aug. Eu.—A pretty plant for rather dryish borders and rocky places.
