Tree, to 40 feet.: lfts. 7-11, elliptic- or oblong- ovate, rounded at the base, glabrous, 2-3 in. long: racemes erect, dense-fld., usually panicled, 4-8 in. long; fls. whitish, about 1/3in . long: pod 1 ½ -2 in. long.
