Iris rosenbachiana, Regel. Lvs. 4-5, finally 6-8 in. long and 2 in. broad: st. short, 1-3-headed: outer segms. obovate-cuneate; blade reflexed, white at the tip, deep purple in the middle and creamy below, with a yellow keel and dark lilac veins; inner segms. spreading or reflexed, obovate, pale lilac.
