Iris boissieri, Henriq. Lvs. linear, very deeply channelled, 1 ft. long: st. about a foot long, bearing few, reduced lanceolate lvs. and a single fl.: outer segms. 1 1/2 in. long; blade obovate, reflexed, as long as the cuneate claw, bright lilac, with a yellow keel running down the claw, slightly bearded; inner segms. as long as the outer, erect, obovate, clawed, bright lilac. June. S. Portugal. B.M. 7097.
