Fuchsia venusta, HBK. Branches slender, somewhat hairy: lvs. opposite and in 3's, elliptic, acute, entire, glabrous, somewhat shining: peduncles axillary, slender, about the length of the scarlet fls. more or less racemose above; fls. elongated, the tube 2 in. long beyond ovary and narrow-trumpet-shaped, the lobes ovate-lanceolate and acuminate; petals about equalling calyx-lobes, scarlet, the margins undulate.
