Fritillaria pluriflora, Torr. Pink Fritillary. Height 6-12 in.: lvs. few, mostly at the base, oblong-lanceolate, about 4 in. long: raceme 4-12-fld.; fls. rosy purple, not checkered, the glands not evident; stigma shortly 3-lobed. Calif. G.C. III. 21:231.—Blooms early. F. purdyi, Eastw., differs in the fl. being white beautifully tinged purple. Humboldt Co., Calif. CH
