Height 5-10 ft.: lvs. glabrous or villous beneath, often with rufous veins; terminal lft. very large, cordate, 3-5-lobed, with broadly ovate, doubly serrated lobes; lateral lfts. usually none; stipules large, semi-cordate; fls. white.
