Annual: st. 4-sided, branched only above: lvs. becoming 3 in. long, strongly 3-nerved, elliptic-oblong, acuminate, narrower than in E. affine, and tapering: fls. blue, 1½ in. across, in terminal, leafy corymbs; sepals broadly winged; corolla-lobes obovate, obtuse.
