Eucodonia is referred to Achimenes. E. Eherenbergii, Hanst. (syn. A. lanata, Hanst.) It is offered abroad. E. naegelioides, Hort. (syn. Eucodonopsis nageliodes, Van Houtte), being a hybrid between Eucodonia Ehrenbergii and Naegelia zebrina splendens. Fls. single on the summits of the peduncles, declined, rose-purple. Var. lilacinella, Van Houtte, has large fls. white at the throat and striped and pointed with purple, and lilac-marbled on the limb. CH
