Cestrum diurnum, Linn. Quick-growing evergreen shrub, minutely pubescent or glabrous: lvs. oblong and short-acute, thickish and glabrous, shining above: fls. white, very sweet-scented by day, in axillary long-peduncled spikes; corolla-lobes roundish and reflexed: berry nearly globular; filaments erect and not denticulate.
