Tall, erect shrub, with glabrescent branches: lvs. broadly elliptic or ovate, obtuse, sparingly hairy or glabrous, bright green beneath, 1-3 in. long: fls. blue, sometimes white, fragrant, in 3-6 in. long, narrow panicles.
