Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture

Angophora lanceolata, Cav. Described in Calif. as a medium-sized white-fld. tree; by Bentham said to be "a tree of considerable size," with bark deciduous in large smooth flakes, the parts glabrous or essentially so: lvs. lanceolate, acuminate, 3-5 in. long, distinctly petiolate, with numerous parallel pinnate veins: fls. in rather dense terminal clusters, larger and denser than in A. intermedia; calyx about 3 lines long, the teeth shorter and thicker than in A. intermedia. Austral.
