Anemone deltoidea, Douglas. St. simple, slender, 6-12 in. high, from a slender rootstock: Lvs. trifoliate, basal ones petioled, others nearly sessile, coarsely crenated, often incised: fls. solitary, white, rather large: achenes several, densely pubescent; style very short. Spring. Pacific slope.
