Ada (a complimentary name). Orchidaceae. Epiphytic coolhouse orchids.

Pseudobulbs elongated, bearing at the apex 1-3 coriaceous lvs.: fls. nodding, in a somewhat 1-sided raceme, terminating the lateral leafless scape; sepals nearly equal, free, usually spreading above; petals similar to the sepals but smaller; lip sessile, continuous with the base of the column, entire, shorter than the sepals; pollinia 2.—Species 2, natives of the Colombian Andes.
