A decent collection of simple tips on how to save money while you're gardening. You might know most of them already, but you might find a good idea or two. I like the one about putting a tiny hole in the bottom of a gallon (or 2 liter) water jug, then filling it with water and setting it next to a dry plant that needs water. If you use a hose, odds are most of the water will run off far from the plant, or you won't have the patience to hold the hose there long enough. I saw this being done recently to water newly planted natives, and the plants seemed very happy.
